what is a mortise lock? A mortise lock is a style of locking mechanism where the deadbolt is functioning on the same lock body as the latch. often times most don't know if they have a mortise lock our not. Typically they are used on solid wooden doors, Expensive doors, and Luxury homes.
What's our role with mortise locks?
The installation process of these locks is tedious and requires very special and precise tools. All of our templates for the routering are made in house for every mortise lock we encounter to ensure the accuracy of our work is the best in the industry. We work with many contractors and builders of high-end homes to ensure that the luxury hardware is installed correctly and functions and looks great.
Mistakes: Often times people believe that they can get someone cheaper to do this sort of work. BIG MISTAKE......Because there is no room for mistakes the drilling that is required is an ART in its own way. The price to pay to fix mistakes of a mortise lock is almost 3 times the cost one would pay to do it right the first time
